Frequently asked questions.

Do I have to book for drinks?

Not at all. But if you like to plan ahead, you can book plush sofas in our lounge or an area on the roof terrace if you and your guests like panoramic views of London with your delicious cocktails. Reservations for tables/sofas can be made via events@thecrosslondon.com

Do I have to book for dinner?

Yes. We’d love to cook for you and your friends, so let us know in advance. Booking link here.

Do I have to pay to enter?

We wouldn’t hear of it . All we ask is that you bring the grown-up vibes and a desire to have a good time

Do I have to be a member to enter?

We may look like a members-only club, but we can’t help it if we ooze class. No membership needed. Just come and enjoy the house.

Do I have to be on a guest list?

You do not need a guestlist you can just walk on in, but if you prefer please submit to events@thecrosslondon.com

Do you do private venue hire?

Absolutely. We can open the whole house to you and your event guests or offer a variety of private venue hire spaces, small and large, to accommodate you. Whether it’s a private dinner for 50 or a cocktail party for 500, tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll see what we can do. events@thecrosslondon.com

Are there club nights I can book?

Is our name The Cross? Whether you’re nostalgic for the original Cross, underneath the arches, back in the day or new to us, we’ve got the night for you. Our monthly Legends nights are becoming legendary themselves with people like Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine and Danny Rampling gracing the decks. We don’t charge entry for these events, but do come early to avoid disappointment. Click here to see what’s on and click here to book.

Are there certain types of music on certain nights?

Whatever your tastes, we’ve got something for you. Come and browse our Instagram to see who we’ve got coming up.

Who is playing when?

You’ll find the most up to date information on our social media. We ran the original Cross back in the 90s and noughties, so our black book bulges with the finest DJs from the explosion of house. You never know who’s going to drop in.

What is the dress code?

Our guests aren’t slouches. The Cross is a special place so we’d love you to dress for a special night out and leave the ratty trainers at home.

Does a dinner booking guarantee entry to the bars/club?

You’re more than welcome to stay after your meal for drinks at the bar or roof terrace. And downstairs the club will just be warming up so don’t be shy. The house is very much open, apart from the two private hire rooms obviously.

Is there a cloakroom?

Of course. We wouldn’t expect you to dance around your bags. Come, unburden yourself and enjoy the house free of impedimenta. (We can only look after physical belongings, the emotional baggage is up to you.)
