Gavin "Face" Mills has been spinning vinyl and collecting records since the 1980s, curating an eclectic collection that spans genres from jazz, funk & soul to disco, house, and beyond.

As one of the original rave DJs of '89, Gavin became legendary for his euphoric closing sets, leaving crowds buzzing long after the music stopped. He co-founded Psychotropic, the duo behind rave anthems like "Hypnosis" and “Only for the Headstrong,” helping to define the house sound of the early '90s.

Gavin later launched Catch Records, an underground label responsible for tracks like TJR’s “Just Gets Better” and Headtop’s “Madshit.” Then under the alias Copyright, Gavin signed with Defected Records , taking his career to international heights with house music hits that became club staples around the globe.

After more than 30 years in the music industry, Gavin decided to shift focus, pursuing a career in music photography.While photography is now his main pursuit, his love for vinyl never faded—he still collects records and plays music purely for the joy of it, keeping the spirit of his DJ roots alive.
