Wild Presents : Mela Q, Tear Of Joy, Venere and Yashar

WILD is a small independent series of events hosted quarterly by LOAD London. Each shoe brings in live percussionist, and upcoming talented local and international artists. WILD is an invitation to guests to express their wild side and creative being. Inspired by wilderness, nature of lost desert, islands, beaches, jungles and immersive environments.

Tobias Lineker playing across a platform of minimal and classic House with his own distinctive groove resonate of a disco attitude – Tobias brings a high quality sound which couples with an embracing form of energy leaving the dance floor with a memorable keepsake.

He can be found performing alongside the likes of Jamie Jones, Archie Hamilton, Rossi, Darius Syrosian and WAFF.

Gavin "Face" Mills has been spinning vinyl and collecting records since the 1980s, curating an eclectic collection that spans genres from jazz, funk & soul to disco, house, and beyond.

As one of the original rave DJs of '89, Gavin became legendary for his euphoric closing sets, leaving crowds buzzing long after the music stopped. He co-founded Psychotropic, the duo behind rave anthems like "Hypnosis" and “Only for the Headstrong,” helping to define the house sound of the early '90s.

Gavin later launched Catch Records, an underground label responsible for tracks like TJR’s “Just Gets Better” and Headtop’s “Madshit.” Then under the alias Copyright, Gavin signed with Defected Records , taking his career to international heights with house music hits that became club staples around the globe.

After more than 30 years in the music industry, Gavin decided to shift focus, pursuing a career in music photography.While photography is now his main pursuit, his love for vinyl never faded—he still collects records and plays music purely for the joy of it, keeping the spirit of his DJ roots alive.

London, we’re back!

Following our back-to-back summer showcases, we couldn’t wait to return and do it all over again with you - and here we are, bringing you our third edition at The Cross, Kings Cross on 29th November 2024.

We continue to showcase a mix of the rising artists with the local heroes within the community, amongst a vibrant and memorable backdrop, from start to finish. This November we welcome Adrian Roman and Secret Encounters to this intimate and cosy central London spot.

Headliner Adrian Roman has been slowly growing momentum within the melodic dance music sphere over the past couple of years. Playing cut and paste with a mix of acute electronic accents ,textures and unique flourishes, Adrian is the name behind plenty of fast-paced, forever-forward productions. His name has landed on labels such as MoBlack, TAU and Sum Over Histories. We’re looking forward to hearing him bring his bold, signature sound to these intimate club surroundings.

Joining us, the London-based duo Secret Encounters, who’ll magnify their smooth, dynamic sound for a solid warm up set to set the scene for the night - in all the right ways.

Native East Londoner Max Sinàl has been playing and releasing music under various alias’s since starting out on East London’s famous pirate radio circuit 25 years ago.

In that time he has played around the world regularly at venues such as Fabric, Space Ibiza and Potato Head Bali to name a few as well as festivals such as Glastonbury, We Out Here, Bestival, Secret Garden Party and many more.

In recent years he has had releases on labels such as Knee Deep In Sound, Of Unsound Mind, Elements and Black Butter under various alias's including 2fox, M.A.X and Sinàl (Kincaid & Sinàl)

2023 saw him launch the Max Sinàl moniker, alongside Soul Quest Records - a label he Co-founded with two close friends. In just a few months he earned the title of one of DJ Mag’s Best Emerging Artists, had his song ‘Let You In’ labelled as one of Bamdcamps best releases of 2023 and had his track Let Your Hair Down synced with the smash hit video game Fortnite. His music has gained wide spread support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, Kai Alce, Aroop Roy and many more.

Bringing you a night full of Disco & Deep/Jackin’ House from Guy Williams, a true original of the scene and now in his 30th year of professional DJ’ing, Guy runs his own party ‘Flash’ at the infamous Pikes Ibiza to which he now calls home.

Lottie a true pioneer of house music since the 90’s rave revolution shaped a generation. For her being a DJ isn’t just what you do, it’s who you are. A soul -sharing, joy giving, reason for living. Returning to Ibiza recently to perform peak-time set at Pikes, so popular there was road block by midnight when she tore up the infamous Freddies club room.

Acid house original Lisa Loud enjoys her 4th decade behind the decks. She headlined illegal raves famously dotted around the M25, Still a regular associated to all house music brands & venues. Widely referred to as the First Lady of house.

Maran.L.O and Lee Rands have a history together behind the decks, with extended sets for Fuse, all night long performances for Liverpool’s mUmU, Ibiza residencies, and hosting their Unwind party to name a few.  When they come together there is a synergy that flows freely through the spectrum of house music. Mi Casa tu Casa Parties have a 20-year history of hosting events at prestigious, intimate venues in London. Some of the DJs have been long-standing fixtures at the event, while new and emerging talent is also showcased. The evening's musical journey begins with Dave Rose, a resident DJ at Mi Casa parties, known for his captivating Baleari, house &. Eclectic tunes,  the event transitions to the basement, where the partnership of Joe Lye & Katie Barber takes the stage. Katie, a resident and promoter of TBC and Adventures in Paradise, and a regular at Soundclash, exhibits her extensive experience as a DJ across global radio, clubs, and festivals. Her partner, Joe Lye, boasts over a decade of performances across London and Europe, including notable residencies at 93FeetEast. Closing the event is Logan Fisher, also known as Haules Baules, a seasoned DJ, producer, and curator of club nights with a multi-decade career. Fisher has influenced the dance scene through his sought-after Tryouts parties, acclaimed as some of the premier nightlife events in London and Europe.

French Mama returns to The Cross for another unmissable night of funky tunes in a friendly atmosphere. This time it’s a throwback to the heyday of house music - expect classic tracks and club anthems impossible to sit down to with a unique French twist for added fizz. French Mama started out hosting quarterly parties in small venues such as Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden and has subsequently grown to play sell out events at POP Brixton for over 1000 attendees. French Mama originated in London’s French community with the desire to come together and party with likeminded people and has since attracted a much wider fan base.

French Mama aka Laurent Barbier is a hugely experienced Parisian DJ, having played at Les Bains Douches, Le Palace, Le Queen, La Scala, La Coupole et al. as well as DJing at private events for Kylie Minogue and Coldplay. He brings his high energy, hands-in-the-air tracks to this legendary venue for a good time – guaranteed!

Ibiza devotees, French divas, London party people – everyone’s welcome!

This Saturday at The Cross we have Leroy Roberts joining us for a special birthday set in the club, Leroy has been a mainstay on London’s Underground music scene playing at parties stretching as far back as Formula all the way through to BARE & Sunday West over the years.

Joining him will be Buntu owner & Resident Samantha Blackburn who will getting things going in the bar with her deep groovy sounds.

Making up the rest of the line up in the club will be a debut at The Cross for Ant Linney, Ant’s underground sound has been making waves throughout the scene so expect him some amazing sounds from him & also completing the line up with have none other than the Acid Kids, with releases on PIV & Hedzup these too have been releasing some great music the last few years & you can expect some amazing energetic music coming from the on the night.

London based with German and Brazilian origins, Moritz Mello Aka “Auric”’s journey within electronic music began in the summer of 2016. After reconnecting with his musical roots and spending the summer in Ibiza, he won the prestigious DJ Awards - Bedroom DJ Competition resulting in a life changing trip back to the island, to land his debut set at the infamous Cafe Mambo Ibiza. As well as DJing for the biggest names of our industry at the DJ Awards Ceremony, which led him to becoming the original resident artist of London based collective Konflict. Records in 2017, in addition taking on the role as Label Manager since then. Auric comes in to his own at the later stages of the night with his deep yet driving, melodic-progressive sound, often creating edits of euphoric melodies and meaningful vocals in the moment to forge a unique ambience throughout his performances and his own compositions are a true reflection of that, creating his unique Artistic fingerprint by emphasising real instruments and electronic elements in the studio, with Konflict. Records debut release ANAUBA achieving the Label's first number 1 in the Beatport charts in 2022

Nancy Noise is one of London’s leading Balearic DJs, who spent two summers living in Ibiza on the dance floor of clubs like Glory’s and Amnesia. Warming up for her original Dj friends Paul Oakenfold where she usued to be a part of the DJ line-up at The Future, which alongside Shoom.
